UNKLE - Where Did The Night Fall

Surrender All

UNKLE aka James Lavelle i Pablo Clements izdaju svoj peti studijski album u maju ove godine pod nazivom Where Did The Night Fall na Surrender All etiketi. Kao i njihovi prethodni radovi, Where Did The Night Fall obećava da će biti krajnje eklektično izdanje, sa akcentima na afro-beat, psychedelic rock, hip-hop i klasičnu muziku sve to kombinujući sa elektronskim bitovima. Na albumu će se naći i nekoliko gostovanja na čelu sa Mark Laneganom iz Queens of the Stone Age, LA noise sastav Autolux i perkusionisti iz londonskog Hertage orkestra.

Još od svog formiranja 1994. godine, UNKLE je često menjao članove benda. Počelo je sa saradnjom James Lavella i Tim Goldsworthya, koji je napustio bend '95 i otvorio svoju izdavačku kuću DFA Records.

U nekim momentima protkele decenije, line up benda UNKLE su činili DJ Shadow, The Scratch Perverts, japanski hip-hop sastav Kudo, i Richard File koje je takođe otišao iz benda 2008. godine. Trenutni članovi UNKLEa su Lavelle i član Psychonautsa Pable Clements.
